BBC x ICA
'SPin Cycle'
This short film was commissioned by the Institue of Creative Arts and Kingston for the BBC as part of the 'New Creatives' showcase and screened in an exhibition at the ICA London. It uses a blend of 2D and stop motion techniques.
The film is experimental in nature, crafting a cathartic experience for the audience as we watch a woman caught in a spin cycle inside a washing machine. The film was based on the emotional and mental state of a person recovering from trauma.
Music and sound was crafted by the amazing Rich Bond and Georgia Harris of Loris the Lion and mixed by Wise Tree Studios.
