In this short documentary we looked into extinction - a relatively new concept for humans, as many people used to believe animals were fixed and eternal. We are now entering into a sixth mass extinction (the last one killed off the dinosaurs). For the first time in the very old history of the Earth however, this mass extinction is being driven by a single species - us. For that reason, we have to be the solution, too.

I had so much fun creating this film with the lovely team at the BBC - experimenting with different techniques and visuals, creating a film that was warm and colourful, celebrating the diversity of life on Earth, while also following and expanding upon a truly heartbreaking narrative.
