This short animated documentary was funded by the EU's 'European Cooperation in Science and Technology', and produced by the CONFREMUS group of scientists working across Europe on the conservation of freshwater mussels.

It aimed to increase understanding in the public on the importance of the freshwater mussel to our ecosystem, and engage audiences through animation and voiceover. I worked with a variety of wonderful and creative experts on this film, drawing on photographs and research documents.
